Wrapping up a week-plus long visit to Antonia Larrain and her group in Santiago, Chile. AMong others, I gave a talk in a session organized by Antonia at the Alberto Hurtado University. The title of my talk: "Argumentation for learning - The right balance between critique and consensus". 

 

Miriam Babichenko now an Azrieli fellow

Congratulations to Miriam who was chosen an Azrieli fellow and will receive the prestigious Azrieli scholarship for her PhD research for the coming 3 years. 

 

Talk at the “Learning in Social Contexts” conference in Pittsburgh

A two-day meeting organized by John Levine and Linda Argote, in which scholars from different disciplines (education, ed psych, organizational science, computer science, org psych) share their research on learning in and from group work in different settings. The program is attached.

The title of my own talk is "Argumentation for learning: What we know and what we need to know" and here is the abstract:
